You
know youre in a great sports bar when every detail carries
the sport motif especially the menu. A popular Tampa-area
sports bar had the same idea when it asked for a unique, eye-catching
menu to greet customers.
The
materials and processes selected for this drink menu were aimed
at creating the look and feel of a real football. The cover is
crafted from a textured material that mimics the feel of pigskin,
while multi-color foil stamping was used for the logo and title.
All pages of the menu were die-cut to the size of an actual football;
the front and back cover sheets were mounted to a 22-point board
to allow the piece to stand on a table.
The
initial request was for 500 copies with a two day turnaround,
which included collating, punching and binding. The final product
was such a hit, a second run of 500 was ordered.

The
Finish Line Binderies team suggested Wire-O binding to allow each
page of the menu to be easily turned either flat on a table or
standing.
